ABOUT
Born Aug 9th 2002, raised between Philadelphia, PA and Oakland, CA. Growing up I always had an affinity for creating. As a child I spend most of my time drawing and painting until I got to middle school where I was fortunate enough to have access to a metal and woodworking shop with an experienced teacher and mentor who sparked my interest in making. From then on i've felt like my purpose is to make things with my hands. The main focus in my designs so far has been creating objects to last in people's lives, and to step away from the wastefulness that is consumerism today. In my studies at Parsons’ Product design, one of the main focuses has been sustainability and slowly initiating a shift in our economy from linear to circular. Reusing what we can and putting things back out into the world as something beautiful and long lasting. I believe that furniture, but also handmade products in general, have the potential to make people feel more at home in their own spaces, and being able to provide that for people through my work is something I've dedicated myself to.
